Commissioner Mary Mwiandi has called on this year's proficiency examination candidates to exercise the highest level of integrity and observe the code of conduct throughout the exam period.
Speaking during the rehearsal at Kenya Education Management Institute, Nairobi, on 28th August 2023, Dr. Mwiandi informed the candidates that the Commission will not tolerate any form of malpractice and will institute severe disciplinary action against any errant candidates.
" I emphasize that this examination exercise is not just for testing your competence to perform various tasks within your areas of deployment but it is largely to promote better service delivery to the citizens.
The four-day exercise will see 432 candidates examined across nine centres in the country.
Proficiency examination targets clerical officers who have completed one year in the public service and meant to enhance service delivery and also a requirement for career progression in the cadre.
