Public Service Commission has appointed Mr. Paul Famba as the Commission Secretary/CEO for a period of 5 years effective from 1st August 2024. In a press release to the media, the PSC Chairperson Amb. Anthony Muchiri described Mr. Famba as an experienced and outstanding public servant who will bring a wealth of experience to the Commission. 

“The incoming CEO has served in senior positions  in Government as Assistant County Commissioner, State Protocol Officer, Deputy County Commissioner and Director of Administration,” said Amb. Muchiri.

Mr. Famba is currently a Secretary of Administration in the Ministry of Interior and National Coordination. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Arts degree in Peace and Conflict management from Kenyatta University.

He will be replacing Dr. Simon Rotich whose tenure as Commission Secretary/CEO comes to an end in July 2024.
