PSC Pursues Avenues To Foster Collaborative Working Environment With Heads Of HRMD in MDAs

The Public Service Commission on 12th September, 2024, held a consultative meeting with the Directors of Human Resource Management (HRM) from Ministries and State Departments (MDAs) to Identify actionable steps that will enhance government service delivery.

The meeting, which was held at the Kenya School of Government (KSG) Nairobi campus, was also a platform to identify opportunities to streamline processes to better support both the PSC’s strategic objectives and MDAs operational needs.

Speaking during the meeting PSC Chairperson Amb. Anthony Muchiri underscored the crucial role played by PSC in upholding the standards of integrity, transparency, and efficiency within our public sector.

“The responsibilities entrusted to you as Directors of HR are equally critical. You are at the forefront of implementing our policies and procedures, and this makes your role fundamental to our collective success,” he underscored.

Speaking at the same event PSC CEO Mr. Paul Famba said that he will collaborate with HRMD Directors and support them to ensure the public service is effective and efficient.

“I look forward to fostering strong working relationships between the Commission’s Secretariat and all of our stakeholders”, he assured.

Also present during the forum were, PSC Commissioners, Amb. Patrick Wamoto, Dr. Reuben Chichir and Ms Joan Atieno, the Principal Secretary Ministry of Public Service, Mr. Amos Gathecha, Director General Kenya School of Government, Prof, Nura Muhamed and PSCs Deputy Commission Secretary Mr. Remmy Mulati.
